Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
1. About This Policy
Attune, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on inattune.com. This Cookie Policy explains what they are, how we use them on the Attune risk-scoring platform website, and the choices available to you. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
inattune.com is a B2B platform website for commercial insurance brokers. We use cookies primarily to keep the site functional and to understand how broker users interact with the platform so we can improve it. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device, store session state, and measure usage patterns. We also use related technologies such as local storage (for example, to remember your cookie banner dismissal).
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | session state, CSRF token, cookie-banner dismissal | session to 12 months |
| Preferences | UI preferences, theme | up to 12 months |
| Analytics | anonymised usage measurement | up to 13 months |
| Marketing | not currently used | - |
4. Notice and Choice
Attune operates under a notice-only consent model for U.S. visitors: non-essential cookies may be set on your first visit. By continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge our use of cookies as described above. You can opt out of analytics cookies by configuring your browser to block them or by using your browser's built-in privacy controls.
We do not use cookies to serve targeted advertising. We do not sell data derived from cookies to any third party.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (for example, in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), we honour browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for sale and targeted-advertising categories. Because Attune does not sell personal information or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising, receipt of a GPC signal results in no change to our analytics cookie behavior. Analytics cookies remain strictly informational and are not used for targeting.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party service providers acting on our behalf (for example, anonymised analytics services). We have data-processing agreements with such providers that limit their use of data collected through the Service to purposes necessary to provide the service to us.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer to reopen the cookie notice at any time.
- Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies at the device level; see aboutcookies.org for browser-specific instructions.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect platform functionality (for example, session-based features in the broker portal).
